On Display will be a very special 1930's Redwood Surfboard used by the Long Beach City Life Guards along the downtown beach between the old Pine Avenue Pier, to the foot of Alamitos Avenue... courtesy of the Long Beach Heritage Museum.

WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT - EVENING HIGHLIGHTS:
The purpose of this very special event is to raise funds and continue outreach and education for our ongoing campaign to restore the shore in Long Beach by reconfiguring the Long Beach Breakwater.
The Surfrider Foundation believes that, by reconfiguring the 2.5 mile long eastern end of the Long Beach breakwater, we can improve water circulation and water quality and bring back some gentle rolling breakers to Long Beach!
